Della T. Hatcher, 63, of Chase City, died August 24, 2016. Della was a retired employee of Craddock -Terry Shoe Corporation and a member of Mecklenburg Baptist Church. She is predeceased by a grandson, Steven Wayne Clay. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Floyd Hatcher; daughter, Jennifer Clay; parents, Bobby and Pam Lester; sister, Wanda Bowers; brothers, James Taylor, Marshall Taylor, David Lester; granddaughter, Sarah Clay. Graveside services will be held on Sunday at 2 pm. at Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Wood Funeral Service from 12:30 until time of service.
