Mary Alice Reamey, 68, of Chase City, died January 2, 2010. She was retired from Virginia Quilting and a member of Concord Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, James A. “Jimmy” Reamey, Jr. and is survived by her husband of 50 years, James Reamey, daughters, Janice Reamey of Orlando, Florida, Jennifer Reamey Beck of Baskerville, Jean Upton and husband, Jody of Boydton, sister, Nancy Allen of Skipwith, grandchildren, Chris, Meredith, Kendele, Janie, Amber, Mary-Madisyn, Johnathan, Jordan, B.J. and her beloved dog, Chip. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at Concord Baptist Church with the Rev. John Mann officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Concord Baptist Church, 11650 Hwy. 47, Chase City, VA 23924.
