Clyde Alfred Oslin, 72, of Boydton, died January 9, 2010. He was a retired tobacco farmer and was preceded in death by his father and mother, Alfred Fletcher Oslin and Mary Cooper Oslin and a brother, James Norfleet Oslin. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sarah Oslin, daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Elic Trent of Chase City, Lisa and Jason Waters of Carthage, NC, step sons, Tim Allgood, Todd Allgood and Trent Allgood of Boydton, Mark Allgood of Union Level, 2 special grandchildren, Jordan and Ethan Waters, and a host of step grandchildren and great grandchildren, a special cousin, Preston Carter, niece, Wanda Blevins, nephew, Ronald Oslin, and his special dogs, Who-We and Hobo. The family will receive friends 7:00-8:00 Monday evening at Wood Funeral Service. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Funeral Service with Rev. Larry Foust officiating.
