Mrs. Marion Billings Tignor, 86, of Chase City, died July 6, 2010. Born in Kenbridge, she was a long time resident of Miami, Florida and was a retired employee of the Internal Revenue Service. She was the widow of James Bertram Tignor and was preceded in death by her son, James Bertram Tignor, Jr. She is survived by her brother, Gordon Billings of Chase City, nephews, Mike Billings and wife, Sylvia of Clarksville, Paul Billings and wife, Niki of Hague. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Woodland Cemetery with the Rev. Gene Burris officiating. Wood Funeral Service, Chase City, is serving the family.
