Mrs. Laura Garrett Wrenn, 88, of Chase City, died July 11, 2010. She was a retired sales clerk and a member of First Baptist Church. She was the widow of Lewis Herbert Wrenn, Jr. and is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Linda Wrenn LaPradd and husband, Henry of Drakes Branch, Nancy Jean Wrenn of Chase City, son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Robert Lewis Wrenn and wife, Diane of Ft. Worth, Texas, sister, Pauline Bristow of Petersburg, grandson, Michael W. LaPradd, great grandchildren, Chase E. LaPradd,USN and Kaitlyn N. LaPradd, of Drakes Branch. The family will receive friends 6:00-7:30 Tuesday evening at Wood Funeral Service. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Woodland Cemetery with the Rev. Brandon Ives officiating.
