Arthur Trevilian Greene, Jr., 68, of Chase City, died January 1, 2013 in his home. He was a retired pre-trial officer with Piedmont Court Service, a graduate of Randolph – Macon College, a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, and a Captain in the United States Air Force. He piloted C-130s in Southeast Asia, and for his service, he was twice awarded the Air Medal and Distinguished Flying Cross. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Joyce Parcell Greene, children, Arthur Trevilian Greene III (Jessica) of Rocky Mount, Va. Wallace Parcell Greene (Sarah) of Frisco, NC, Coranna Morgan Greene Santos (Peter) of Richmond, sister, Frances Greene Carter (Ray) of Venice, FL, brother, Robert Tyree Greene (Barbara) of Halifax, grandchildren, Arthur Trevilian Greene IV, Solomon Daniel Greene, Neve Elizabeth Greene and Sydney Ross Santos. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at St. John’s Episcopal Church with the Rev. Paul Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
