Mrs. Nora Elvin Poole Bugg, 84, of Chase City, passed away January 18, 2013. She was a retired self employed caterer, a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, and past treasurer of VFW Auxiliary Post #8228. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, F. Whitney Bugg, sons, Ricky Bugg of Chase City and Glenn Bugg (Tracy) of South Hill, sister, Erma Vaughan of Saxe, grandchildren, Sean Patrick Bugg, Meghann Whitney Bugg and Briana Hope Bugg. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 Sunday at Wood Funeral Service. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at Centenary United Methodist Church with interment in Woodland Cemetery.
