Raymond Edward Lacks Jr., age 67, of Chase City, died December 31, 2016. He was a Veteran of The Vietnam War and a member of American Legion Post 43. Ray was the son of the late Raymond Lacks Sr. and Charleen Hatcher Lacks. Surviving are his sisters, Linda Carter and husband Charles, Margaret Flynn and husband Randolph, Mary Dawson, all of Chase City, and Anna Rogers of Broadnax, special caregivers, Dana Flynn and Jay Edmunds, companion, Donna Smith. Services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia, with Rev. Woody Moore officiating.
