Brenda Dale Medley Clary, age 62, of Chase City, passed away, February 10, 2019, four days after her beloved husband, Sandy Clary. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Frances  Lucille Medley, and was preceded in death by a child, Crystal Smith, and a brother Ricky Medley.  She is survived by her daughter, Shelia Vanderpool, sisters, Connie Medley Wagstaff and husband, Norman, Wanda Sue Medley Williams and husband, Horace Jr, brothers, Tommy Medley and wife Laurie, Bobby Medley and wife Angie, grandchildren, Brittni Smith, Dylan Vanderpool, Dustin Vanderpool, great grandchildren, Elyjha Dews, Brydenn Dews, Kerynzi Dews, Adriana Vanderpool, and Tyler Vanderpool. A memorial service will be at Bethel Baptist Church,9040 Trottinridge Road, Chase City, 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 16, 2019. Wood Funeral Service, Chase City is serving the family.
