Mary Madeline Oquinn Adams, 87, of Chase City, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019.  Madeline was a farmer, a retired employee of West Point Stevens of Drakes Branch, and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Jean Adams, and a grandson, James Bradley Wilmouth. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, James Adams, daughter, Brenda Wilmouth and husband, Jimmy of Drakes Branch, brother, Harmon Oquinn of Dayton OH, and a grandson, Jonathan Wilmouth. Services will be held at Mount Zion Baptist Church at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 20, 2019. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
