Puddin was a very good friend of my father and uncle. He always made me laugh everytime I saw him as a child and adult. He was truly a special man. Christie I know it has been a long time but I have missed hanging out with the old Westover boys club and their children back then it felt like we were one big family.

So sorry to hear of “Puddin’s” passing. I worked with him many years ago. He was a good man and a fine tobacco buyer. He will be sorely missed. May Our Gracious Lord bring your peace in your time of sorrow.

Christie, so sorry to hear this. Even though we cannot be in attendance at the service mine and Stephanie's thoughts are with you and your family. We were neighbors for years and had so many good times together even before you were born. We were there when you were born and spent many happy times after that. I know it hasn't been that long since you lost your mom, whom I also miss, so our prayers are with you and we just want you to know we are thinking about you. Need to add Puddin' was so much fun and always making you laugh and especially helpful when he babysat for me while I was at the beach with your mom, Frances, and Margaret.

So sorry to hear about "Puddin" passing. I had known him for a long time through the tobacco business. My father "Buck" Buckner owned Big Sale Tobacco Warehouse in Danville, New Growers Tobacco Warehouse in Tifton Ga and Dixie Jenkins Tobacco Warehouse in Abingdon Va and I worked in all of those for 10 years or so in my younger life. That's how I came to know Bill. We often ran into each other when he would be in those markets. He was such a character and also a lot of fun to be around. He would always keep you laughing. He was also a good friend of my brother, Donnie Buckner which was also in the business as a buyer and worked in the warehouse in Abingdon. We were all like family. Bill really loved his job and it showed. All of us in that business ran into a lot of great people along the way. So many stories to tell. Haven't seen him in a while but he's a person you will never forget. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Bill was a wonderful man. He was so kind and considerate., I really thought the world of him. He would stop out here just to say high every couple of months. I know this is really hard on you Christie especially with the loss of your mother. I did not know Joan and Brett were also deceased. I pray that God will grant you the peace you will need to get through this and in the coming days. You were always Daddy’s Little Girl. You gave him one of the greatest gifts in his life, Alex. He really loved your son so much and was very proud of him.
