So sorry to hear of Gary passing. He was my best friend growing up. Joined the navy together right out of high school. Rest In Peace

I last saw Gary on September 12th at our 45th high school reunion. He had flown from VA. to Sulphur Oklahoma to gather with his former classmates. I visited with Gary for a long time. On October 8th Gary sent me an email and told me that both he and Sherry had Covid but it was Sherry who was having a tough time. He asked me to put her on our prayer list. To say that I was shocked when I heard that he had passed is an understatement. I had asked him to keep me posted and he said, "Will do" so I wrongly assumed that things were good. I had not seen Gary for many years. He was a changed man. He could not stop talking about his love for his Lord and his church. He told me how the Lord had changed him from the inside out even in the face of personal hardships and struggles. It was so encouraging to hear his words. I am a pastor and I admit that he encouraged me and even inspired me. In his matter of fact way, he shared with me the simple Gospel message of redemption, and I saw it in everything about him. I will see you again my friend and I pray that the Lord will let you know that you touched the old class of 75. The changed man touched us all. To the family please know that Gary's old friends in Oklahoma are praying for you and please feel free to reach out to us if you would like. Romans 10:13 God bless Bill

I was so very sorry to hear of Gary and Sherry's passing. I knew Gary from his Schwan's route. I never had the pleasure of meeting Sherry in person but I feel I knew her because of the many times Gary lovingly spoke of her. He was such a very kind and special friend to me, not just a food deliverer. He helped me through a lot of difficulties in my life, whether it be the death of a loved one or health issues or something else. He has had many prayers with me on my back porch and I will never forget my special friend. He will truly be missed!

Gary was loved by so many in our community and surrounding areas. We both had the absolute pleasure of knowing Gary and his wife Sherrie and we were so sorry to hear about the loss of the beloved couple. We want to extend our condolences to all family members, and know that each of you are loved by so many. May God heal your pain, and be with you all during this time of sorrow.
