Patricia O’Connell Hancock, age 73, of Chase City, passed away May 29, 2021. She was a member of St. Catherine’s of Sienna Catholic Church and preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Daniel Hancock. Surviving are her children, Jananne O’Connell (David Cooper), and Pete Hancock (Megan); sister, Ann Scott; and grandchildren, Lila and Adeline Hancock. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday at Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Wood Funeral Service from 12:30 pm until service time.
