i was fortunate enough to be assisged to submarine overhaul when i started work at nns&ddc under tony wells. grady helped a new worker and young yankee to get settled and to apprecate life. he taught me that it okay to laugh at youself like he when told of shooting his decoys and not the ducks. i wish i could have related to him how his friendship and others at nns&ddc affected my working career and life in general i was blessed to have granted known grady.
