LeeAnn Love (Merilee) Age 79, of Chase City, Virginia passed away in her home on October 31, 2022.
She was born April 22nd, 1943, in Louisville, KY. LeeAnn loved the simple things in life which included sitting on her front
porch swing with her beloved husband, working in her flower beds, sitting by the campfire, floating in her pool, and just enjoying nature.
She was passionate about helping the elderly and physically challenged. She worked at Lake Country Agency On Aging for years where she delivered meals, provided transportation, and showed love and compassion to everyone she encountered.
LeeAnn adored her large family and loved every moment she spent with them. She is preceded in death by her son, Jason Cole; step-son, Justin Love; parents, Robert & Margaret Jones; brothers, Mike Jones, Bruce Jones, and Keith Jones; grandson, Benjamin Driggs; and great grandson, Weston Daugherty. She is survived by the love of her life, her wonderful husband Phillip who adored her in return. They were a true match made in Heaven. She is also survived by her 7 daughters, Michelle Driggs, Sherri Cottrell, Kristin Cottrell, Mary Helen Miller, Deborah Griffith, Jessica Daugherty, & Donna Korfhage along with her sisters Patricia Fenwick, Cheryl Ernspiker, Doris Sinclair (DeeDee), and her “baby” sister, Janice Jones. LeeAnn’s legacy will live on in her 10 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren who she adored. Services will be held 12:00 p.m. Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Concord Baptist Church with interment following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
