Noah J. “N.J.” Lenhart, age 94 of Chase City passed away November 28, 2023. He was a retired employee of VEPCO with 33 years of service, a charter member of the Chase City Sertoma Club, Woodmen of the World, and a longtime member, Sunday school teacher and director, VBS teacher, Men’s choir member, and Deacon Emeritus at Wylliesburg Baptist Church. He served his country in the Virginia National Guard. N. J. was also a “Jack of all trades”. He was willing to help others in any situation. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jere Lenhart. Surviving is his son, Jay Lenhart (Traci); daughters, Kathy Moss (Gray), Becky Baffuto (Tommy), Denie Wallace (Chuck), and Mary Ellen Jones (Bill); 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Wylliesburg Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
