Share your Memorial with Family & Friends

I was greatly saddened to hear about the passing of my dear friend, Jim Caudill! He was a genuine man and by that I mean he was honest and did not put on any pretentions. He as a good old Kentucky man and had the accent to prove it. We first met Jim and Sue in northern Virginia. Sue made our wedding cake. When they moved to Chase City we had a lot more memories there. One thing we remember is that Jim and Sue bought us a Wii to take back with us to Uganda when we were missionaries. They were very generous people. One of the best memories I have of Jim is his laugh! I can picture it in my mind even now. I will miss him, but will see him and Sue again when we meet in heaven. That will be a great day.

Jim, “Grandpa” Jim, was a great man. Some of my earliest memories were spent with Jim. Jim & his wife Sue never missed a big event in my childhood. From graduations, parties, games, holidays, etc. They showed us nothing but unconditional love, like we were family. Family is not tied to blood, and I was fortunate to discover that type of love at as a child. Not many in this world are lucky enough to experience the abundance of love and care some may have for you, but when you do have that you realize the true blessing it is. Grandpa Jim, thank you for everything you have done for me. For being there, loving me, being present, and making sure you were a part of my life. I thank you. I miss you dearly, and will always cherish the love you shared with me. I hope one day I can be a man that is kind, loving, friendly, selfless, generous. Just like how Jim was. Thank you for everything Grandpa Jim. Forever in my heart, and while we mourn your earthly passing we look forward to the day we will see each other again in heaven.

Our family will always cherish Grandpa Jim. Some of our fondest memories are days spent at their house having Grandma Sue’s yummy sweets. Grandpa Jim’s laugh cannot be matched. He was always there for the kids. Holding all our kids hours after they were born and loving us all like blood relatives. We will never forget you Gpa Jim. So thankful for the promise of eternity and that we will see each other again. We love you Grandpa Jim. Say hi to Grandma Sue for us.
