Katherine Martin Wilmouth, 51, of Drakes Branch, died October 1, 2013. She was preceded in death by her mother, Edith Martin and brother, David Martin, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Hurley B. Wilmouth, Sr., daughter, Chrisie M. Martin of Saxe, father, David “Toby” Martin of Wylliesburg, sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Steve Guthrie of Chase City, brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Lois Martin of Buffalo Jct., step-son, H. B. Wilmouth, Jr. of Drakes Branch, grandson, Landon Griles. The family will receive friends 7:00-8:30 Thursday evening at Wood Funeral Service. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at Friendship Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Jordan officiating. Interment will follow in the Wilmouth Family Cemetery.
