Mary Etta Smithson Moore, 85, of Richmond, and formerly of Chase City, died October 2, 2013. She was a retired employee of Family Thrift, the widow of James John Moore, and the daughter of the late Walter Smithson and Mary Wilkerson Smithson. There are no immediate survivors. Services will be private at Woodland Mausoleum.
