Tony Louis Stimac, 93, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2013. Born in Ironwood, Michigan, to the late Anton Stimac and Louise Ritmanich Stimac, he is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Nell B. Stimac. A long time resident of Norfolk, he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service and later retired as a meat manager for BeLo Grocery Stores. He was a master gardener and life time member of the Tidewater Rose Society. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, in Chase City, Virginia at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to Norview Methodist Church, Norfolk, or a charity of your choice. Wood Funeral Service, Chase City, is serving the family.
