Merwin F. Cox, Jr., 67, of Chase City, died November 17, 2013. He was a retired farmer and a member of Mt. Horeb Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Hazel Cox, daughters and sons-in-law, Eva and Robbie Robinette, Kimberly and Edward Lynch, Crystal Cox, brother, David Cox, sister, Julia Spake, all of Chase City, grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Lynch, Robert Gene Robinette and Harmony Rene Cox. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Horeb Baptist Church with graveside services to follow at 2:00 p.m. Rev. A.C. Wells and Rev.
