Dennis E. Talbert, Jr., 77, of Springfield, and formerly of Chase City, died July 19, 2014. He was a retired Director of the U. S. Patent Office and was preceded in death by a son, Rance “Randy” Talbert and granddaughter, Sarah Hope Skotzko. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Hope Talbert, children, Dennis “Denny” Talbert, Robert “Robbie” Talbert and Denise “Deedee” Skotzko and husband, Ed, grandson, Rance Skotzko.
