Eloise Wallace Newcomb, 93, of Fort Mitchell, departed this life and went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 18, 2014. Eloise is predeceased by her parents, Van and Helen Wallace, her husband, Frank Newcomb and son, Earl Newcomb, sisters, Louise Burns, Annie Wallace, Mildred Rutledge and Elsie Greene, brothers, Rufus Wallace and Harold Wallace and one granddaughter. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Betty Hazelwood and husband, Glen, daughter-in-law, Evelyn Newcomb, grandchildren, Kristin Gosney, Kevin Gosney and wife, Crystal and Joshua Hawkes, great grandchildren, Makayla Hawkes, Emily Gosney and Alyssa Gosney, sister, Lucy Pendelton, brother-in-law, Andrew Burns. Eloise was an active member of Salem Christian Church and The Women’s Society as long as she was able. Visitation will be Monday, October 20 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the church. Services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Salem Christian Church in Fort Mitchell. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  In lieu flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital or The Gideons International. Wood Funeral Service is serving the family.
