Melvin Wade “Bug” Edmonds, 59, of Chase City, died March 31, 2015. Born December 9, 1955, he is survived by his sisters, Annie Smith and Clarence Hutchins, Alice and Bo Crowder, Patricia Creedle, brother, Collen Edmonds, nephews, Jimmy Smith and Joyce Marston, Shaun and Jaclyn Smith, nieces, Angel Creedle, Linda and Kenny Clary, great nephews, Jax Smith, Tobin Smith, great nieces, Raven Smith Paisley Smith, Keelan Foster, Luna Dillion, Allison Clary, Haley Clary and Skylar Clary. The family will receive friends at Wood Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Friday with graveside services to follow at 2:00 p.m. in Woodland Cemetery.
