Obituaries

It was with a heavy heart that I recently learned of the loss of my friend, Dale. He was a dear customer of mine while he was at FA Automotive. . Over my many years in the automotive parts business, covering territories in several states, I came into contact with many, many individuals. But if I had to pick a 'favorite' it would have been Dale, hands down. His years in the air force served him well for his managerial duties at FA Automotive. He was professional in his duties, but he had that certain something in his demeanor that made one feel right at ease in his presence. Especially missed are the lunches we shared when I came to Chase City...we would walk into a local restaurant and folks would immediately recognize him and call his name. He and Jennifer graciously invited my wife and I to lunch at their lovely home a while back, and I had so hoped to make that journey back to Chase City for a repeat occurrence. Goodbye, old friend. So sorry for your loss. Dale and I were friends in high school. We also joined the U.S. Air Force together. May God comfort you during this time of sadness. RIP Dale. James & Annette Moore.

I just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear of Dale's passing. My mom Rosa just passed in October, and he sent the nicest tribute to her. They worked together for years at F and A, and I can also remember coming to your home to visit as Stephen and I were good friends as well. May his memories bring you comfort and knowing also he is in a better place now. Prayers
